Creates presentation-ready tables summarizing data sets, regression models, and more. The code to create the tables is concise and highly customizable. Data frames can be summarized with any function, e.g. mean(), median(), even user-written functions. Regression models are summarized and include the reference rows for categorical variables. Common regression models, such as logistic regression and Cox proportional hazards regression, are automatically identified and the tables are pre-filled with appropriate column headers.

Changes in 2.6.1

Improved the speed and memory efficiency of the as_*() converters and tbl_summary(). The resolution of the rows predicates stored in x$table_styling no longer round-trips through tidyr::unnest()/dplyr::group_by()/tidyr::nest(), and the summary statistic footnote is now constructed in a single pass over the ARD instead of once per variable. We now see 64% faster compute times for as_gt(), 85% for as_tibble.gtsummary(), and 5% for tbl_summary(). (#2474; @kpagacz)
The default body argument of save_flex_docx() now fits the table to 100% of the page width, and the default footer argument correctly right-aligns the "Page X of Y" line.
The plot() method for tbl_regression() and tbl_uvregression() now correctly passes arguments in ... to ggstats::ggcoef_plot(), as documented. (#2470)
