Managing both a 'parsnip' model and a preprocessor, such as a model formula or recipe from 'recipes', can often be challenging. The goal of 'workflows' is to streamline this process by bundling the model alongside the preprocessor, all within the same object.

Changes in 1.3.0

Implemented postprocessing
Include a post stage and integrate post-processors from the tailor package via add_tailor(), remove_tailor(), update_tailor(), extract_postprocessor(), and .fit_post() (#225).
Include post-processing in the workflow methods for augment() (#276), extract_parameter_set_dials() (#266), tidy() (#305), required_pkgs() (#299), tunable() (#272), and tune_args() (#270).
extract_tailor() extracts the tailor from a workflow (#301).
Checks on compatibility of model spec and tailor (#304).
Increased the minimum required R version to R 4.1.
Updated auto toggle sparsity to handle lightgbm engine (#290).

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled. We list this channel from recorded r2u download activity rather than from a live index of the repository, so treat it as last known rather than guaranteed.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make
