Visualization techniques, data sets, summary and inference procedures aimed particularly at categorical data. Special emphasis is given to highly extensible grid graphics. The package was package was originally inspired by the book "Visualizing Categorical Data" by Michael Friendly and is now the main support package for a new book, "Discrete Data Analysis with R" by Michael Friendly and David Meyer (2015).

Changes in 1.4-14

Minor bug fixes in docs and vignettes.
struc_assoc() now fixes dimname names in the table of expected values if missing.
coindep_test() did wrongly try to apply aggfun() to the residuals if this was actually missing (instead of not applying it).

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled. We list this channel from recorded r2u download activity rather than from a live index of the repository, so treat it as last known rather than guaranteed.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make
