Allows for estimation of phylogenetic trees and networks using Maximum Likelihood, Maximum Parsimony, distance methods and Hadamard conjugation (Schliep 2011). Offers methods for tree comparison, model selection and visualization of phylogenetic networks as described in Schliep et al. (2017).

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.
