Fitting linear models and generalized linear models to large data sets by updating algorithms, according to the method described in Enea (2009, ISBN: 9788861294257).

Changes in 0.3-5

method 'qr' in both spedglm() and speedlm() has been modified, as the previous code for this method resulted in a violation of the CRAN policy. Now the method is based on function qr() of package stats.
speedlm(), update.speedlm(), and speedglm() were modified to accept weights directly in the form weights=w instead of weights=data$w.
several examples were resized to allow a shorter execution time.

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled. We list this channel from recorded r2u download activity rather than from a live index of the repository, so treat it as last known rather than guaranteed.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make
