High level functions for parallel programming with 'Rcpp'. For example, the 'parallelFor()' function can be used to convert the work of a standard serial "for" loop into a parallel one and the 'parallelReduce()' function can be used for accumulating aggregate or other values.

Changes in 6.2.1

Fixed bundled oneTBB builds with recent libc++, which no longer includes <algorithm> transitively. tbb/concurrent_queue.h uses std::equal but did not include it, giving "no member named 'equal' in namespace 'std'" when compiling concurrent_bounded_queue.cpp, as seen on CRAN's clang-trunk checks. (#280)
Fixed bundled oneTBB builds and downstream compilation with Clang and libc++ when targeting macOS 10.12 or earlier, where C++17 aligned allocation is not available. (#219)

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled. We list this channel from recorded r2u download activity rather than from a live index of the repository, so treat it as last known rather than guaranteed.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make
