Performs species distribution modeling for rare species with unprecedented accuracy (Mondanaro et al., 2023 doi:10.1111/2041-210X.14066) and finds the area of origin of species and past contact between them taking climatic variability in full consideration (Mondanaro et al., 2025 doi:10.1111/2041-210X.14478).

install.packages("RRgeo", repos = "https://cloud.r-project.org/")

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Release

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-RRgeo

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
