Parse dates automatically, without the need of specifying a format. Currently it includes the git date parser. It can also recognize and parse all ISO 8601 formats.

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from gaborcsardi/parsedate. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-parsedate

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.
