Implements analytical methods for multidimensional plant traits, including Competitors-Stress tolerators-Ruderals strategy analysis using leaf traits, Leaf-Height-Seed strategy analysis, Niche Periodicity Table analysis, and Trait Network analysis. Provides functions for data analysis, visualization, and network metrics calculation. Methods are based on He et al. (2026) doi:10.1002/ecog.08026.

Install

install.packages("MultiTraits", repos = "https://cloud.r-project.org/")

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Release

sudo apt install -y r-cran-multitraits

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

ls /etc/yum.repos.d/*iucar*cran*.repo >/dev/null 2>&1 \
  || sudo dnf copr enable -y iucar/cran
sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-MultiTraits

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
