Performs clustering of quantitative variables, assuming that clusters lie in low-dimensional subspaces. Segmentation of variables, number of clusters and their dimensions are selected based on BIC. Candidate models are identified based on many runs of K-means algorithm with different random initializations of cluster centers.

Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Release

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-varclust

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
