Automatic estimation of number of principal components in PCA with PEnalized SEmi-integrated Likelihood (PESEL). See Piotr Sobczyk, Malgorzata Bogdan, Julie Josse "Bayesian dimensionality reduction with PCA using penalized semi-integrated likelihood" (2017) doi:10.1080/10618600.2017.1340302.

Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-pesel

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
