Historical voting data of the United Nations General Assembly. This includes votes for each country in each roll call, as well as descriptions and topic classifications for each vote.

Changes in 0.3.0

Updated data to 2020 version in dataverse, which contains UN votes up to the end of 2019 (thanks to @ngoguened, #2)
Countries are now in line with the newest version of the countrycode package, which includes changing "United States of America" back to "United States" and "United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland" back to "United Kingdom" (ouch). The country_code column should be consistent.
Fixed some links to GitHub to https.

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled. We list this channel from recorded r2u download activity rather than from a live index of the repository, so treat it as last known rather than guaranteed.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make
