Evolutionary Search for Optimal Node Combinations in Trees
Overview
Provides Markov chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) sampling and genetic algorithms for searching combinations of nodes in hierarchical trees. Includes scores for binary outcomes, continuous outcomes, and recurrent events, with applications to pharmacovigilance and hospital data. Importance weighting estimates uniform combination score references from tempered MCMC samples and reports weight-based effective sample sizes. Computational routines are implemented in C++ via 'Rcpp'.
- Document return classes, output components, and their interpretation for the eight functions identified during CRAN review.
- Require an explicit
output_dirinrun_ga_batch(). Calls that previously relied on the default"results"directory must now supply that argument. - Replace both disabled genetic-algorithm examples with small, self-contained examples that run during package checks and show the actual returned fields.
