The 'timeDate' class fulfils the conventions of the ISO 8601 standard as well as of the ANSI C and POSIX standards. Beyond these standards it provides the "Financial Center" concept which allows to handle data records collected in different time zones and mix them up to have always the proper time stamps with respect to your personal financial center, or alternatively to the GMT reference time. It can thus also handle time stamps from historical data records from the same time zone, even if the financial centers changed day light saving times at different calendar dates.

streamlined holidayNYSE().
fixed a minor bug in holidayTSX() and streamlined it a bit.
removed the deprecated (in v4032.109) timeDate method for cut, use window instead.
modified the timeDate method for window to return a 0-length timeDate object when the window is empty. Previously it was returning a length-1 object with a data value NA.
removed the S4 timeDate method for frequency (the S3 method suffices). Also, frequency is no longer turned into an S4 generic and not exported.
removed getRmetricsOption, use getRmetricsOptions (i.e., plural) instead.

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled. We list this channel from recorded r2u download activity rather than from a live index of the repository, so treat it as last known rather than guaranteed.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make
