Articles in the 'R Journal' were first authored in 'LaTeX', which performs admirably for 'PDF' files but is less than ideal for modern online interfaces. The 'texor' package does all the transitional chores and conversions necessary to move to the online versions.

Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from Abhi-1U/texor. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-texor

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.
