A tidy framework for working with archaeological stratigraphy and chronology. Includes tools for reading, analysing, and visualising stratigraphic sequences (Harris matrices) as directed graphs following the definition of Dye and Buck (2015) doi:10.1016/j.jas.2015.08.008 and an R interface to the Chronological Query Language (CQL) used in 'OxCal' by Bronk Ramsey (2009) doi:10.1017/S0033822200033865.

stratigraph() supports tidy/long-format data frames where each row represents a single relation (#15)
Improved validation workflow for stratigraphs
Validation now considers redundant relations.
strat_is_valid() renamed to strg_is_valid() (#21) and silently returns a logical value.
Use strg_validate() to raise an error for invalid stratigraphs or strg_validate(warn = TRUE) to raise a warning.
Adds print() method for stratigraphs including validations status
Minimum supported R version is now 4.1
Removes deprecated c14_* and cal_* functions. These now live in the c14 package.

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled. We list this channel from recorded r2u download activity rather than from a live index of the repository, so treat it as last known rather than guaranteed.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make
