Runs R-code present in a pandoc markdown file and includes the resulting output in the resulting markdown file. This file can then be converted into any of the output formats supported by pandoc. The package can also be used as an engine for writing package vignettes.

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from djvanderlaan/simplermarkdown. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make
