Generate simulated datasets from an initial underlying distribution and apply transformations to obtain realistic data. Implements the 'NORTA' (Normal-to-anything) approach from Cario and Nelson (1997) and other data generating mechanisms. Simple network visualization tools are provided to facilitate communicating the simulation setup.

Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from matherealize/simdata. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-simdata

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
