Graphical User Interface ('shiny' App) for 'brms'
Overview
A graphical user interface (GUI) for fitting Bayesian regression models using the package 'brms' which in turn relies on 'Stan' (https://mc-stan.org/). The 'shinybrms' GUI is a 'shiny' app.
Major changes
- Default to sequential instead of parallel computation.
Minor changes
- If installed, the **posterior** package is
now used for computing MCMC diagnostics, not **rstan**.
- Apart from the bulk-ESS and the tail-ESS, the ESSs for the 50 %, 2.5 %, and
97.5 % posterior quantiles are now checked automatically as well.
- UI: Minor enhancements in text elements; updated URLs.
- Internally: Tests migrated from
- Updated the list of allowed function names when specifying a prior via a Stan

function name (for security reasons, it is not possible to enter arbitrary code
in the prior distribution text field). Now, all distributions implemented in
Stan v2.37.0 are supported (although not all of them are useful in the context
of **shinybrms**).
