Useful to visualize the Poissoneity (an independent Poisson statistical framework, where each RNA measurement for each cell comes from its own independent Poisson distribution) of Unique Molecular Identifier (UMI) based single cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) data, and explore cell clustering based on model departure as a novel data representation.

Install

R (CRAN)Ubuntu (r2u)

install.packages("scpoisson", repos = "https://cloud.r-project.org/")

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

  || curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/eddelbuettel/r2u/master/inst/scripts/add_cranapt_noble.sh | sudo bash
sudo apt install -y r-cran-scpoisson

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make
