Package to tackle large-scale problems asynchronously across a distributed network. Employing a database centric model, rush enables workers to communicate tasks and their results over a shared 'Redis' database. Key features include low task overhead, efficient caching, and robust error handling. The package powers the asynchronous optimization algorithms in the 'bbotk' and 'mlr3tuning' packages.

feat: $start_workers() gains the profiles argument to start workers on separate mirai compute profiles, e.g. profiles = c(cpu = 2, gpu = 2) starts 2 workers on the daemons of the "cpu" profile and 2 workers on the daemons of the "gpu" profile.
feat: $push_tasks() gains the profile argument to queue tasks for a mirai compute profile.

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled. We list this channel from recorded r2u download activity rather than from a live index of the repository, so treat it as last known rather than guaranteed.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make
