Search species and specimen records from the Royal Botanic Gardens Tree of Life Explorer and retrieve selected genomic sequence files. Provides a bundled species index, tools for matching scientific names, and selective download helpers for sequence files. Supports tidy data workflows with list-columns, summaries, exploratory visualisation with 'ggplot2', and illustrative tree construction from shared genes.

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.
