Helps with quality checks, visualizations and analysis of mass spectrometry data, coming from proteomics experiments. The package is developed, tested and used at the Functional Genomics Center Zurich https://fgcz.ch. We use this package mainly for prototyping, teaching, and having fun with proteomics data. But it can also be used to do data analysis for small scale data sets.

Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from cpanse/protViz. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

  || sudo dnf copr enable -y iucar/cran
sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-protViz

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
