Provides functionality to support data preparation and exploration for palaeobiological analyses, improving code reproducibility and accessibility. The wider aim of 'palaeoverse' is to bring the palaeobiological community together to establish agreed standards. The package currently includes functionality for data cleaning, binning (time and space), exploration, summarisation and visualisation. Reference datasets (i.e. Geological Time Scales https://stratigraphy.org/chart/) and auxiliary functions are also provided. Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from palaeoverse/palaeoverse. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
