Transforms datetime data into a format ready for analysis. It offers two core functionalities; aggregating data to a higher level interval (thicken) and imputing records where observations were absent (pad).

Reintroduced the tidyverse linting, all the examples in the documentation are now also styled accordingly. issue #70
Improved documentation of the by argument in for pad and more informative error messages. issue #83
Replaced the magrittr pipe operator by the base R pipe operator in all examples. issue #97
Removed package loading in the examples, using direct invocation from the namespace instead.
Updating tidyselect code so we don't use deprecated functionality. issue #90 raised by github user tanho63
Bug fix for thicken where start and end values are not in the same time (normal or DST) and interval is day or week. issue #95 raised by github user monica-water
A more informative error is thrown for the break_above argument, it is clear the threshold can be adjusted by the user.
A more informative error is thrown when an invalid argument is used for interval in thicken.
The Year2038 bug is resolved for thicken and thicken_cust, they now work for timpepoints after January 19 2038. issue #96

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled. We list this channel from recorded r2u download activity rather than from a live index of the repository, so treat it as last known rather than guaranteed.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make
