Helper functions for package creation, building and maintenance. Designed to work with a build system such as 'GNU make' or package 'fakemake' to help you to conditionally work through the stages of package development (such as spell checking, linting, testing, before building and checking a package).

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from fvafrcu/packager. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-packager

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.
