It provides utility functions for investigating changes within R packages. The pkgInfo() function extracts package information such as exported and non-exported functions as well as their arguments. The pkgDiff() function compares this information for two versions of a package and creates a diff file viewable in a browser.

Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from couthcommander/packageDiff. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-packageDiff

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
