Tools for analysing multivariate time series with wavelets. This includes: simulation of a multivariate locally stationary wavelet (mvLSW) process from a multivariate evolutionary wavelet spectrum (mvEWS); estimation of the mvEWS, local coherence and local partial coherence. See Park, Eckley and Ombao (2014) doi:10.1109/TSP.2014.2343937 for details.

Install

R (CRAN)Ubuntu (r2u)Fedora (COPR)openSUSE (OBS)

install.packages("mvLSW", repos = "https://cloud.r-project.org/")

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Release

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

ls /etc/yum.repos.d/*iucar*cran*.repo >/dev/null 2>&1 \
  || sudo dnf copr enable -y iucar/cran
sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-mvLSW

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
