Miscellaneous functions for (1) data handling (e.g., grand-mean and group-mean centering, coding variables and reverse coding items, scale and cluster scores, reading and writing Excel and SPSS files), (2) descriptive statistics (e.g., frequency table, cross tabulation, effect size measures), (3) missing data (e.g., descriptive statistics for missing data, missing data pattern, Little's test of Missing Completely at Random, and auxiliary variable analysis), (4) multilevel data (e.g., multilevel descriptive statistics, within-group and between-group correlation matrix, multilevel confirmatory factor analysis, level-specific fit indices, cross-level measurement equivalence evaluation, multilevel composite reliability, and multilevel R-squared measures), (5) item analysis (e.g., confirmatory factor analysis, coefficient alpha and omega, between-group and longitudinal measurement equivalence evaluation), (6) statistical analysis (e.g., bootstrap confidence intervals, collinearity and residual diagnostics, dominance analysis, between- and within-subject analysis of variance, latent class analysis, t-test, z-test, sample size determination), and (7) functions to interact with 'Blimp' and 'Mplus'.

Changes in 0.8.4

New features

New function test.linear() for performing tests for linearity in a linear model,

i.e., RESET test, Harvey-Collier test, and Rainbow test.

New function test.homo() for performing tests for homoscedasticity in a linear

model, i.e., Breusch-Pagan test, White's test, Evans-King Generalized Least Squares test,

and Verbyla's test.

New function test.norm() for performing tests for univariate normality (i.e.,

Lilliefors test, Shapiro-Wilk test, Anderson–Darling, and Cramer-von Mises test),

and multivariate normality (i.e., Henze-Zirkler test, Henze-Wagner test, and Royston test).

New function test.bm() for performing the two-sample and paired (Permuted)

Brunner-Munzel test for stochastic equality.

Minor features and improvements

Show all changes in 0.8.4Hide the rest of the changes in 0.8.4

Revised the function check.outlier(), i.e., the function performs outlier and

influential observations diagnostics by plotting statistical measures for

leverage, distance, and influence for liner models.

The functions test.t.formula and test.welch can conduct multiple two-sample

t-tests or Welch tests with multiple outcome variables.

Added the arguments plot, geom, filename, width, height, and dpi

to the functions cor.matrix() and multilevel.cor() to draw and save a

correlation heat map.

User-visible changes

Added the argument horiz to the function print.misty.object() after removing

the argument in the previous version

Removed the argument sort.var from the function print.misty.object().
Removed the arguments cor and ref from the function test.t() and test.welch().
Added the argument geom to the functions aov.b(), aov.w(), test.levene(),

test.t(), test.welch(), and test.z() and removed the arguments bar, point,

box, ci, line, and jitter.

Added the argument data to the functions cohens.d.default, ci.mean.diff.default,

ci.prop.diff.default, test.t.default, and test.z.default.

Added the argument na.omit to the functions test.t.formula and test.welch.
Changed the default setting of the argument sample in the functions skewness

and kurtosis to FALSE.

Removed the arguments square, rotate, color, tile.alpha, plot.margin,

legend.box.margin, legend.key.size, legend.text.size, and units from the function na.pattern, and

added the argument geom to the function na.pattern.

Removed the plot arguments from the function multilevel.r2, and added the argument

... to the function multilevel.r2.

Removed the plot arguments from the function check.resid, and added the argument

... to the function multilevel.r2.

Added and renamed several plot arguments to the plot.misty.object and changed

the default setting for all arguments to NULL.

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.
