Functions to fit quantile regression models for hierarchical data (2-level nested designs) as described in Geraci and Bottai (2014, Statistics and Computing) doi:10.1007/s11222-013-9381-9. A vignette is given in Geraci (2014, Journal of Statistical Software) doi:10.18637/jss.v057.i13 and included in the package documents. The packages also provides functions to fit quantile models for independent data and for count responses.

Install

install.packages("lqmm", repos = "https://cloud.r-project.org/")

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Release

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

ls /etc/yum.repos.d/*iucar*cran*.repo >/dev/null 2>&1 \
  || sudo dnf copr enable -y iucar/cran
sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-lqmm

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
