Contains two main functions: one for solving general isotone regression problems using the pool-adjacent-violators algorithm (PAVA); another one provides a framework for active set methods for isotone optimization problems with arbitrary order restrictions. Various types of loss functions are prespecified.

install.packages("isotone", repos = "https://cloud.r-project.org/")

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Release

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-isotone

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
