Provides a coherent interface and implementation for creating grouped date classes.

Changes in 1.8.0

New function get_interval_duration() which returns the number of days covered by an element of a grates object, e.g. the following is TRUE `` identical( get_interval_duration(yearmonth(2020, 1:3)), c(31, 29, 31) ) ``

breaking change

as.double() for <grates_int_period> objects now returns the same result (subject to type) as as.integer(). Both return the lower bound of related interval. Note that <grates_int_period> objects should still be treated as experimental for the time being.

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled. We list this channel from recorded r2u download activity rather than from a live index of the repository, so treat it as last known rather than guaranteed.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make
