Systematic fit of hundreds of theoretical univariate distributions to empirical data via maximum likelihood estimation. Fits are reported and summarized by a data.frame, a csv file or a 'shiny' app (here with additional features like visual representation of fits). All output formats provide assessment of goodness-of-fit by the following methods: Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, Shapiro-Wilks test, Anderson-Darling test.

Install

install.packages("fitteR", repos = "https://cloud.r-project.org/")

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Release

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

ls /etc/yum.repos.d/*iucar*cran*.repo >/dev/null 2>&1 \
  || sudo dnf copr enable -y iucar/cran
sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-fitteR

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
