A plotting package for climate science and services. Provides a set of functions for visualizing climate data, including maps, time series, scorecards and other diagnostics. Some functions are adapted and extended from the 's2dv' and 'CSTools' packages (Manubens et al. (2018) doi:10.1016/j.envsoft.2018.01.018; Pérez-Zanón et al. (2022) doi:10.5194/gmd-15-6115-2022), with more consistent and integrated functionalities.

BarPlotCat(): New parameters to configure transparency, labels and text sizes.
VizEquiMap(): New parameter to configure caption height.

**Bugfixes**

VizCombinedMap(): Fix plot alignment issues by moving mask drawing to VizEquiMap().
Fix dimension name handling following changes in aperm() behavior.
ColorBarDiscrete(): Fix the use of deprecated scale parameters.

Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled. We list this channel from recorded r2u download activity rather than from a live index of the repository, so treat it as last known rather than guaranteed.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-esviz

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
