Calculates the desparsified lasso as originally introduced in van de Geer et al. (2014) doi:10.1214/14-AOS1221, and provides inference suitable for high-dimensional time series, based on the long run covariance estimator in Adamek et al. (2020) doi:10.48550/arXiv.2007.10952. Also estimates high-dimensional local projections by the desparsified lasso, as described in Adamek et al. (2022) doi:10.48550/arXiv.2209.03218.

Changes in 0.3.1

Minor fixes to pre-empt any possible issues related to CRAN's upcoming default compiler.
Updated citation formatting.

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled. We list this channel from recorded r2u download activity rather than from a live index of the repository, so treat it as last known rather than guaranteed.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make
