Provides a helpful 'R6' class and methods for interacting with the 'Posit Connect' Server API along with some meaningful utility functions for regular tasks. API documentation varies by 'Posit Connect' installation and version, but the latest documentation is also hosted publicly at https://docs.posit.co/connect/api/.

Changes in 0.12.1

Fixed repo_check_branches() and repo_check_branches_ref() to handle the updated response format from newer versions of Connect (#524).

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled. We list this channel from recorded r2u download activity rather than from a live index of the repository, so treat it as last known rather than guaranteed.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make
