Provides function declarations and inline function definitions that facilitate communication between R and the 'Armadillo' 'C++' library for linear algebra and scientific computing. This implementation is derived from Vargas Sepulveda and Schneider Malamud (2024) doi:10.1016/j.softx.2025.102087. The shipped version of the 'Armadillo' library is version 15.4.2 "Medium Roast Agave".

Using Armadillo 15.4.2.
I am now using litedown and tinyroxygen for the documentation.

Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled. We list this channel from recorded r2u download activity rather than from a live index of the repository, so treat it as last known rather than guaranteed.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.
