A collection of functions for estimating spatial regimes, aggregations of neighboring spatial units that are homogeneous in functional terms. The term spatial regime, therefore, should not be understood as a synonym for cluster. More precisely, the term cluster does not presuppose any functional relationship between the variables considered, while the term regime is linked to a regressive relationship underlying the spatial process.

Install

install.packages("SpatialRegimes", repos = "https://cloud.r-project.org/")

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Release

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

ls /etc/yum.repos.d/*iucar*cran*.repo >/dev/null 2>&1 \
  || sudo dnf copr enable -y iucar/cran
sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-SpatialRegimes

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
