The method 'generate()' is extended for spatial multi-site stochastic generation of daily precipitation. It generates precipitation occurrence in several sites using logit regression (Generalized Linear Models) and the approach by D.S. Wilks (1998) doi:10.1016/S0022-1694(98)00186-3 .

Install

install.packages("RGENERATEPREC", repos = "https://cloud.r-project.org/")

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

  || sudo dnf copr enable -y iucar/cran
sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-RGENERATEPREC

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
