A simple and flexible way to generate Circos 2D track plot images for genomic data visualization is implemented in this package. The types of plots include: heatmap, histogram, lines, scatterplot, tiles and plot items for further decorations include connector, link (lines and ribbons), and text (gene) label. All functions require only R graphics package that comes with R base installation.

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from hzhanghenry/RCircos. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-RCircos

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
