An Umbrella Framework for Multi-Source and Multi-Omics Clustering
Overview
An umbrella framework ("MoSaIC:" Multi-Omics Similarity Aggregation and Integrative Clustering in R) that unifies a large collection of multi-source / multi-omics clustering methodologies behind a single, consistent list-of-matrices interface. It spans five integration paradigms - direct, similarity-based, graph-based, voting-based consensus, and hierarchy-based - and bundles a complete downstream workflow for method comparison and evaluation. The package features the multi-source the ability to compare many algorithms on the same footing, a data-nugget based feature-weighting scheme as a robust, big-data-friendly alternative to variance weighting, and a downstream suite for cluster characterisation, visualisation and biological interpretation.
- **
CharacteristicFeatures()bug fix.** When called withbinData(the common case, as in the documented example) an inner loop index overwrote the cluster index, so only the first cluster's characteristic features were returned, and adatanamesmis-index left the per-source result list unnamed. Both are fixed: features are now computed and named for every cluster. - **
plot_pathways(style = "circular").** New radial (sunburst-style) bar plot that groups the enriched terms by cluster around a central hub. Bar length encodes \eqn{-\log_{10}} p and colour encodes the cluster; each term is a single-line radial label that stays legible as the number of terms grows. Complements the existing"dotplot"and"lollipop"styles. - **
enriched_features()** - new helper that turns [CharacteristicFeatures()] output into a per-cluster list of compactterm/pvalue/Counttables (keeping the significant, enriched features and tidying their names), ready to hand straight toplot_pathways().
