Provides low-level access to the International Monetary Fund Statistical Data and Metadata eXchange ('SDMX') 3.0 API, available at https://data.imf.org/, and a concise workflow for discovering datasets, inspecting dimensions, and downloading observations as tidy data frames.

Changes in 0.2.0

This release migrates imf.data to the new IMF SDMX 3.0 API. This is a breaking change from the API used by version 0.1.x.

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled. We list this channel from recorded r2u download activity rather than from a live index of the repository, so treat it as last known rather than guaranteed.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make
