Build display tables easily by extending the functionality of the 'flextable' package. Features include spanning header, grouping rows, parsing markdown and so on.

Changes in 0.6.5

Markdown images without explicit dimensions now obtain their size using flextable::as_image(), allowing flextable::save_as_image() to render them (#109). Automatic sizing requires the optional magick package.
Use resolved Quarto execution metadata for citations in books and other documents when available (Quarto 1.8 or later; #112).
Fix Markdown list items being joined without separators (#115). Lists now use bullet or decimal markers, preserve inline formatting, and indent nested items.
Fix math rendering with Pandoc 3.11 by explicitly requesting plain HTML math.
Use the Pandoc executable selected by **rmarkdown** for math rendering.
Fix colformat_md to apply md_extensions when part = "all" (#110, thanks @astrochemx)

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled. We list this channel from recorded r2u download activity rather than from a live index of the repository, so treat it as last known rather than guaranteed.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make
