A class that links matrix-like objects (nodes) by rows or by columns while behaving similarly to a base R matrix. Very large matrices are supported if the nodes are file-backed matrices.

Changes in 1.4.0

Follow [Bioconductor S4 practices][2]. If you have used new() to create ColumnLinkedMatrix and RowLinkedMatrix instances, please use the ColumnLinkedMatrix() and RowLinkedMatrix() constructor functions instead.
Drop defunct cbind.RowLinkedMatrix and rbind.ColumnLinkedMatrix methods.
Update citation instructions.
Use inherits(., *) instead of class(.) == * (R4 compat).
Use tinytest instead of testthat.

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled. We list this channel from recorded r2u download activity rather than from a live index of the repository, so treat it as last known rather than guaranteed.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make
