Consistent user interface to the most common regression and classification algorithms, such as random forest, neural networks, C5 trees and support vector machines, complemented with a handful of auxiliary functions, such as variable importance and a tuning function for the parameters.

DEFUNCT FUNCTIONS:

zeroinfl() is on CRAN again, after having been archived before. Therefore we are falling back to using the function directly from the package.

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled. We list this channel from recorded r2u download activity rather than from a live index of the repository, so treat it as last known rather than guaranteed.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make
