An efficient implementation of the slope method described by Sen (1968) doi:10.1080/01621459.1968.10480934 plus implementation of prewhitening approaches to determining trends in climate data described by Zhang, Vincent, Hogg, and Niitsoo (2000) doi:10.1080/07055900.2000.9649654 and Yue, Pilon, Phinney, and Cavadias (2002) doi:10.1002/hyp.1095.

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled. We list this channel from recorded r2u download activity rather than from a live index of the repository, so treat it as last known rather than guaranteed.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make
