Extensions for 'ggplot2' that implement the "visualize as you randomize" principles of Coppock (2021) doi:10.1017/9781108777919.022, which can be especially useful when plotting experimental data. Provides position adjustments that arrange over-plotted points so that a statistical model can be shown in data-space, and a helper for graphing extreme value bounds when an experiment encounters attrition.

Install

install.packages("vayr", repos = "https://cloud.r-project.org/")

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Release

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

ls /etc/yum.repos.d/*iucar*cran*.repo >/dev/null 2>&1 \
  || sudo dnf copr enable -y iucar/cran
sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-vayr

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
