Predicts a smooth and continuous (individual) utility function from utility points, and computes measures of intensity for risk and higher-order risk measures (or any other measure computed with user-written function) based on this utility function and its derivatives according to the method introduced in Schneider (2017) http://hdl.handle.net/21.11130/00-1735-0000-002E-E306-0.

Install

install.packages("utilityFunctionTools", repos = "https://cloud.r-project.org/")

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Release

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

  || sudo dnf copr enable -y iucar/cran
sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-utilityFunctionTools

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
