Provides S3 generic methods and some default implementations for Bayesian analyses that generate Markov Chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) samples. The purpose of 'universals' is to reduce package dependencies and conflicts. The 'nlist' package implements many of the methods for its 'nlist' class.

Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from poissonconsulting/universals. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.
