The Twilio web service provides an API for computer programs to interact with telephony. The included functions wrap the SMS and MMS portions of Twilio's API, allowing users to send and receive text messages from R. See https://www.twilio.com/docs/ for more information.

This is the initial release of the twilio package for R!
tw_send_message() sends SMS and MMS messages.
tw_get_messages_list() retrieves the messages list from your Twilio account

which is the log of all of your sent and receieved messages.

tw_message_tbl() transforms the messages list into a data frame.
tw_get_message_media() retrieves information about photos or videos included

in an MMS.

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled. We list this channel from recorded r2u download activity rather than from a live index of the repository, so treat it as last known rather than guaranteed.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make
